Welcome to my site! I am a vocalist, lever harpist, composer, researcher, folk naturalist, writer, and teacher. I live in the rainforest of the Pacific Northwest, a unending source of fascination and inspiration. As The Snake Said to the River, I perform folk and historical music, recite stories and poems, provide mystical offerings, and give tutorials on wildcrafting and plant identification; all on social media. I perform new and experimental music, and am co-founder and co-manager of the ensemble Fonema Consort.
